i didn’t feel like myself anymore
so i cut my hair with hopes it would awaken a sense of self within me
but now i jump when i look in the mirror because i don’t look like myself anymore either
i went back to the house i called my home hoping to feel a sense of normalcy
i collapsed into the bed i used to call mine with the hope of finally sleeping through the night
but the sheets smell like dust this is no longer my bed
everything is grey
everywhere i go feels gray
a horse approaches me in a dream
he looks at me and quietly says
"greigh"

the sheriffs department in a town a couple hours away decided to soak a camp is gasoline and light
it on fire
