> i consider this to be the first actual htmab album
> i love my ambient records but this is the type of music that i want to make
> my goal anytime i make music is to make something that i would want to listen to
> i want to be my own favorite band
> i feel this is the most honest music i have ever made and i am so proud of everything about this album
> it showcases my influences while still remaining unique
> the instrumentation, songwriting, structure, and production are exactly how i want them to be
> i used to go to college for music and i dropped out because i had fallen out of love with it
> after seperating myself from it i realized how much i missed creating
> this album to me is my return to making music that i want to hear
> about half of these songs are re-imagined versions of songs from an album that was lost in a hard drive mishap (oh no!, if you love me, and ysbwm)
> say you love me is actually the only song from that album that was finished and that i had a copy of so i just remastered it for this album
> for the most part i'm actually glad that album was lost because i like these versions WAY better
> most of the lyrics got re-written and i like how i'm expressing those feelings now much better
> i plan on releasing some of the demos from this album in the future because i still think they're interesting enought to be worth a listen
> also super huge thank you to everyone that showed up for ysbwm
> everyone did such an amazing job and i couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out
> these are so easily some of the most talented musicians i have ever met and you are doing yourself a disservice to not listen to them
